Hi everyone and thanks for your advice!
Yeah, she was REALLY REALLY sucky for the first two days, but it was the colostrum she was after for sure as she'd fuss and cry to switch sides after about 5-10 mins, over and over and over... LOL Wouldn't b content to suck a finger so figured it was no point trying a dummy either even though I had some soothies (special newborn ones I got from Jess) that aren't supposed to interfere with bf. She was actually hungry, so I just kept switching... Have quite sensitive skin anyway, so even if her latch was acceptable and gradually getting better over the first few days, I got really sore and blistered. Milk came in already at midnight after the second day, and that night she slept some longer stretches after getting more milk in. The super engorged stage has passed it seems but am still very tender and blisters have turned into small cracks but they are healing well with the cream. I reckin a few more days of sore nips and, fingers crossed, we should be over the worst. The cream is quite soothing.
We gave Lois a dummy/paci on day 5 as she was super super sucky and wouldn't let us put her down at all. She did have some nipple confusion later on though I think, but not sure if it was because of dummy or bottles. Sienna doesn't want to be put down to sleep on her own either, but I don't mind this time as am just enjoying the cuddles

so at least waiting with dummy for now. Will see how we go and will prob introduce one when bf has become routine if feel we would benefit from using one.
Candice I also LOVE that new picture of all the kids!
Lotta- aha, bockhornsklöver! Thanks, good to know.
Thanks for the hugs and well wishes too everyone

The poo-parties started yesterday and it's now turning curdly and yellowy, so mature milk must be in now
