When/how is the best way to introduce these foods?

Cucumber - do you cut it into spears and give as a finger food, or cut it as slices? Take the seeds out, or let your Lo have them? Peel it, or leave the skin on?

When is it okay to introduce melons? How about grapes?

What kind of crackers do you give?

I think I introduced cucumbers at around 8 months.  I served them as slices with the skin and seeds in them.  Melons were not introduced until closer to 10 mos and they were served as thin wedges with the skin so they can hold onto them.  Grapes were cut in quarters until they were older and I didn't cut them anymore.

As for crackers, they were one of the first foods.  Mostly whole wheat no salt crackers.
