Tracy...you are the best friend I never knew.  Yet, I do know you because of the real and lasting impact that your insight, wisdom, and love have had in my family's life.  Becoming a mother hit me like a ton of bricks and pretty much overwhelmed me...until I found your books.  I felt like a weight was lifted off of me when you discussed EASY: I felt empowered and confident enough in myself to be able to meet all of Aaron's needs.  Because of that, now that I am no longer wondering, "What does that cry mean?  What's wrong with him?," our entire family goes about our day in relative peace and calmness.  Rob and I feel like we can look at our son and see who he really is.  More importantly, we can LOVE him for who he really is.  And that has made all the difference.

We love you Tracy!
Our endless gratitude.

Thank you Tracy, for teaching me how to listen to my babies. I never would have understood what they were trying to tell me if it hadn't been for your books.
May your memory be eternal

Tracy saved my sanity when I really didn't think it could be saved.  She was an amazing woman that brought understanding to mother's worldwide.  She has changed lives everywhere and has brought a community together like none other.  From our humble beginning to see what she has become.  Tracy will forever be missed, but will forever live on.  Peace and love from a forever thankful BW mom with a now 8 and almost 5 year old.

Jen - X&E's Mommy - has said it so very well!!!! At a time when PPD and reflux and a Touchy baby were sending me around the bend, she helped us get thru it with her words of advice and her encouraging manner.

And this site that she's left as a gift to so so SOOOO many of us has been such a blessing! I've been a mom for nearly eight years now, and I'm still here. I know I'll find other moms who understand, and be able to hopefully help other moms with some of the things we managed to survive. The network of love and caring has taken on a life of its own - I've been thrilled to meet in person and/or talk on the phone with so many BW's since I started here when J was only 3 months old (Jen being one of them, come to that - thanks!), to exchange ideas and techniques and fun and baby/kid stuff and advice and experiences and so on.

Thank you Tracy for all you've done for us and for out children!!!! Love you!!!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

I feel I wouldn't be the parent I am today if it weren't for you and my wonderful, supportive friends here  :) What would I have done without you all? I shudder to think :(
Thank you from the bottom of my heart  :-*

Saying my prayers of thank you to you Tracy as well, my soul was touched in the first pages of your book, with the stories of your grandmother.  And I know that I am the parent I am, and my son is the child he is, because of your help and guidance.  As others have said, I could not have done it without you.

I'm forever grateful for the incredible gift you have given us - your philosophy, the way you empower us to be the best parents we can be, this site - your legacy - which truly provides a safe haven to so many of us. I know I'll be forever indebted to what you have given me and my family, and there will never be a way to properly thank you.

I have been listening to this song lately and it has reminded me of you very much:

I was only thinking this morning how little my son actually cries - well, that's down to you Tracy.  Instead of crying being his only method of communication; I learned, through you, to read him and understand his needs.

Thank you.
