wu: 07.00
nap1: 11.00-12.00
nap2: 16.00-17.00
sleep: 20.30

his A time between 3h30m to 4h. and he sleeps 1h or 1h15m with this A time. if i sleep him after 4h30m to 5h A time he sleeps 2h or 2h30min. and our night sleep time is 8.30 pm and this is our choose.

how old is he?

if he can handle 5 hours A time and gives you a 2 to 2.5 hour nap then i think he is ready to go to 1 nap.  but bedtime will have to be earlier until he is adjusted.  when he goes to 1 nap i would aim for a 12 hour day - 5 hour A followed by 2 hour nap  followed by 5 hour A means a 12 hour day so bedtime would have to be 7 pm if he wakes up at 7 am. kwim? (i would aim for nap from 12-2pm but let him sleep as long as he wants, don't wake him up)

be careful with it, when we switched we did 2 naps on some days as she would get so tired, it was like catch up sleep, and then she would do 1 nap again.  just watch his cues.  some days he may be able to handle 1 nap and some days he may need 2 if he is doing something very stimulating that day, or teething , or sick, or just tired from a week of 1 nap.

when we switched for a while actually my lo did a 13 hour night and an 11 hour day - her bedtime was so early but we had to switch because of daycare, i would have let her do 2 naps a bit longer if i could have.

how i am unlucky!!!
*my lo has slept 2.5h after 5h A time but now he sleeps only 1.5h. should i do PUPD or W2S? his real A time is 4-4.5h
* these days are difficult; if i sleep my lo 2 naps, he has to take short naps, if he sleeps 1 nap then he has to take long A time? unfourtunatly, i arrange his sleeps not according to his tiredness, i arrenge according to his wake up time or his nap time

what i would do is let him have 4 or 4.5 hours A time, then give him his first nap but wake him up after 30 min.  then another shorter A time and then nap 2 as long as he wants, then bedtime about 4 ours after he wakes from nap 2.  doesn't sound like he's ready for 1 nap yet if it's being cut short with suc a long A time.

example:
7 awake
11:15-11:45 nap
1-3 nap
7 bed

then the first nap just keeps getting cut shorter and shorter andthe second nap keeps moving earlier.

When you cut the morning nap short.....it isn't long enough for them to be well rested so the next A time should be and can be short and they will usually nap in the afternoon for a good long nap before bed.

agree with pp.

i know your "bedtime" is 8:30 but when cutting down day sleep and going to one nap you have to be flexible with this.  he will probably not be able to handle a 13.5 hour day during this time.  don't worry, eventually you will have that 8:30 bedtime back but for now when going through the transition i think you have to put to bed earlier in order to avoid OT.  it should really be more like a 12 hour day, so unless he starts waking up later in the morning you need to put to bed around 7 pm, 12 hours after he gets up in the morning.

when we switched to 1 nap with dd1 she went from doing this:
6 awake
10:30-11 sleep
1-3 sleep
8 bed

(10 hours at night)

to this:
7 awake
12:30-2:30 sleep
6 bed

(13 hours at night)

how many bottles of milk is he getting?

i think this is what we were doing at 13 mo, adjust timing for your wakeup and bedtime:

7 awake and breakfast (solids)
9 milk
10:30 snack (solids)
12 lunch (solids)
12:30-2:30 nap
2:30 milk
3:30 snack (solids)
5 dinner (solids)
6:30 milk
7 bed

looks like you are doing 3 meals and 2 snacks which is right.  he should also be getting 2 or 3 bottles of milk.  at 13 mo my lo was getting 3 bottles and we went down to 2 bottles around 15 or 16 mo.
