Yes, we spell or make up our own little euphimisms or use another language (usually Korean when possible but he is starting to learn some Korean words now too!!!). No matter what we are doing, assuming DS is not listening, sure enough he is! Our euphimisms are constantly evolving and so no more mention of raisins, they are "dried sultanas" as even when we said "dried grapes" to each other he freaked and demanded grapes   ::)

Yes, the days of spelling are going to end soon for us, too. She now knows "g-o" and "c-a-k-e" and "d-i-n-n-e-r." I'm sure we'll need alternative words for "cookie" and "juice" pretty soon.

There sure are a lot of bright BW kids out there - learning to spell already  ;D

Yesterday A had:

B: Porridge, signed for banana but only ate a couple of bites, milk
S: Half a toasted currant teacake
L: half a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich, shared cheese and mixed pepper quiche, jacket and salad with me, small cookie
S: none - had a late nap so didn't get up til 3.30pm  :o
D: 2 fish fingers, couple of chips and baked beans, creme fraiche and blueberries, milk

LOL, I knew my days of spelling were over the day Masyn asked if we could go to the
P-A-R-K!!!

Today for Spence:

breakfast : cheerios, formula
snack: MumMums
lunch: orange, cereal bar, toast
snack: more Mummums, formula
supper: nothing...she chewed some chicken and carrots and spat it back out.
Not sure what is up with her, it looked like she was getting hives on her face, so i gave her benadryl, but I can't think of anything she ate that would have caused it!

Speaking of hives, Chandler has a colorless rash all over her torso--just this prickly texture to her skin. Does that sound like any food allergy reaction you know about?

We've only ever gotten red hives from an allergic reaction, usually starts on her face and then if it's bad enough covers her whole body.  Dry skin maybe?

Oh I meant to comment on this. These dry colorless type rashy things were always mild eczema (according to her ped. when she was pretty young). Flared in the winter and subsided most other times. We just lotioned her up before bed. She got it mostly on her legs when younger, this winter it is showing on her belly and back a bit. It gets slightly red if she scratches it or gets hot, sort of like a heat rash mixed in.

Thanks, Nicole-Ava's Mom. I almost had myself psyched into thinking she had Scarlet Fever!

Doubtful without any other symptoms/fever! hehehe. If it persists you can ask the doc. about it, but I figure if they're eating/sleeping and not fevery it must be pretty benign.

Today:
B-more french toast (made a french toast casserole for the week) and milk
S-craisins
L-spaghetti (mom didn't change it up even though that's what she had yesterday...twice! ugh)
S-not sure, my mom tends to offer her tons of fruit though, so I bet she had some
D-creamy, chicken, salsa dish-ate by herself and did so so. Got bored and wanted to get out of her chair. I let her and didn't force it.

Last night, Chandler refused her favorite dish, rice with green peas and teriyaki salmon. She was teething, so I offered her some applesauce with oatmeal cereal mixed in. She gobbled that down, then was enticed to have a few bites of her real dinner, but not much.

We bought a new dining room table, so her high chair is at the head of table now. She stood up in the middle of dinner (a common occurrence) and discovered something new: she could see herself in the mirror on the wall! Well, dinner was over at that point. She was kept standing up and sticking out her tongue so she could see the food in her mouth.

PMSL  ;D

Yesterday A had:
B: big bowl of porridge, one slice of toast and jam (cos that's what I was having  ::)), half a mango, milk
S: rice cakes
L: pumpkin soup and 3 slices of olive bread, other half of mango
S: more rice cakes
D: (at a friends and she was giving her 3 yo DS food, so A had to join him - and ate more than him  ::)), toast, pasta shapes in sauce (tinned variety), hot dog and ham, home-made star biscuit (gluten-free for my friends LOs), juice

She's at the the CM today . . . which means she'll have a million snacks and very little of the food I give her for dinner  ::)
