Hello there,
I have read lots about short naps and how to try and extend naps etc which we are trying to do (she always wakes after 20-40 minutes but does not appear jerky/overstimulated - she usually wakes up happy and ready to play!) what to do about the EASY routine in the mean time - do you always go to E after S even if sleep is only 20 mins? Only problem is, she is not always hungry and refuses to feed (breast feed) then gets hungry around the time of her next nap - confusing the situation further. I usually encourage her to nap rather than feed when this happens - in line with EASY routine but I a worried she is then not getting enough feeds in the day and she is still waking at 2,4, and 6 in the night!!
is it ok to have only 'catnaps' in day if she is otherwise happy? If so, how to handle EASY? Any thoughts/ideas/advice appreciated!
My little girl is 3 months old
