Love the website..!...just started my lo with cauliflower, being cautious however, so am trying not to give it to him everyday.

Yazzie - does the cauliflower seem to be making him gassy? Is he normally a gassy guy? I'd really like to start it with my DS but not if painful gas is the result!

hey guys! can I jump in? your post made me realize that sweet potatoes may have been the reason my lo was up sooo much the other night. She was extremely gassy throughout the day and night!! Could that mean she's not ready for solids or that veggie isn't suited for her?

great thread!

He IS the master of gas...hehehehehe...but I don't really think it did have a negative effect, he only had it on Sunday, didn't seem to have an effect, so will try again tomorrow, as I told you I'm being very cautious & you might want to try to give it to him with something that's tummy friendly, like maybe zucchini.

Thanks! Currently trialing egg yolk (hardboiled and mashed with banana) for two more days, then moving onto yogurt but think might go for cauliflower after that.

Karen, have to ask how old is your lo?..have been considering eggs or yogurt next for my almost 7 months old ds, but was a little hesitant..!..@ Sarah, u r so not the only one..:D...would suggest, though to introduce any new food early in the day, so that your lo's body can deal with it all day & there would be less of a possibility of it affecting night sleep.
