Perfect! She protested a little when it was bedtime, but she usually does that. Was asleep right away, and not a peep all night! Haven't gotten her up yet...hopefully she is still in her bed.

And she was in her bed when I got her up...still sleeping ;D. So proud of my "little" big girl!!! Now, I'm also trying to wean her off of the fan to a white noise CD, and the red glowing lights on her CD player didn't even keep her up. I really hope I'm not jinxing myself here.

Nope, not so little at all...Masyn and I argue everyday over whether Spencer is a baby, toddler or a big girl. I think once we tackle potty training she'll qualify for true big girl status  ;D

I'll have to get a pic of her in her "new" bed tomorrow, she gives me a cute grin now when I tuck her in bed, she's so proud of herself!

I'm kind of torn between wanting to get it done early and waiting like I did with Masyn (she ended up training herself!) We did start using the potty for fun with her at 10 months though.

Spencer has been up early a few times and hasn't gotten out of bed...I don't think she really knows she can!!!

How cute that she doesn't realise she can get out!  Although I think thats related to all the hard work you've put in to sleep training so she realises bed is for sleeping, not messing!

We've been toying with potty training for a while now, just practicing using it etc and she actually did a poo in it last week (was doing bare bum time and told me she was doing a poo and I managed to get her sitting in time).  She's had a lot of the readiness signs for a while but I've been putting it off. Santa is bringing big girl pants (In the night garden ones which she'll love) so I might just go for it in January and see how we go.  It seems like such a big step toward independence though, I think thats what puts me off!

 :-*  Thank you so much for those words...I sure wish I could hear that come out of DH's mouth!

I agree that PT is a big step to indepenence...and we may not have another, so I kinda want her to be my baby for alot longer, and that's the last baby thing to go!

Yes, we are still using the sleeping bag...not sure if that is what is stopping her from climbing out though, but I'm going to keep using it until she does manage to figure out she can get out of bed!
