Things started getting messed up after the time changed.  He never really got adjusted and now things are all over the place!  Because of his lack of sleep he's now got his second cold since Thanksgiving (he's never been sick back to back like this).  These are our problems...

Napping later and later in the day (and longer) which means going to bed later and later.  Still waking up at the same time even though he's gone to bed hours later then he used to.

Our schedule before the time change and everything got screwed up.
6:30- wake up
1130-12- nap
1-130-wake up
7-go to bed

Now he's not napping until 1-2 and I've been waking him after 1.5-2 hours so I'm not sure how long he would sleep if I didn't wake him!  Then he ends up being up until 8 or 9 even if I try to get him to bed at 7, obviously because he hasn't had enough awake time.  He also doesn't go to sleep easily like he used to :(

Should I try to 'force' him to nap earlier?  Or just let him nap when he wants to but wake him up after an hour so possibly he'll go to bed earlier?

He desperately needs to get back on track!!!!

Hi, I'm no expert but if it were me, I'd keep the nap shorter in favour of an earlier bedtime.  Maybe once he's going to bed earlier his nap time will adjust?

I guess it's a personal choice.  What does your instinct say?  I assume he won't go down any earlier for a nap?  Is he high or low sleep needs?
