Maybe after a shorter night he needed only 3 hours A? How is rest of day going?

I just put him down for his PM nap so we will see how this one goes. His temperament was fine during the last A time. Hopefully we will get a nice 1.5 hr nap now.

So if awake at 3:05 and considering his early morning I'd definitely shoot for asleep by 6:30 tonight.

Okay and also, I think he is teething again. I massaged his jawline with the castor oil and chamomile oil before his nap as he was drooling like crazy with really red cheeks. Maybe the chamomile oil will make him extra sleepy.

Okay right after my last post, he woke up screaming. I have been trying until now to get him to go back to sleep but no luck. He is definitely tired still. Cranky, clingy, could be teething (not sure). So what does that make our night look like? At this rate, in bed by 5, lol.

Sounds like my DS today. To a tee really... plus mine has lots of wet burps today... Fun... Here's hoping for good nights for all of us...

Hopefully your night went well!!! It is so hard with these little guys sometimes. Ethan was asleep by 6:15 pm last night. He woke at about 7:30 and then again at about 8:40 and yet again at 10:40 and then slept until 6:30ish this morning. So it was a pretty good night considering he had a total of 2hr of daytime sleep. I think the start of the night was definitely OT. So hopefully if we can get that PM nap today to bed 1.5 hrs, he will eliminate some of those early NW's. I am going for:

wake 6:30
S: 10-11
S: 2:15-3:45 (maybe I should shorten this A again?)
Asleep in bed 7pm

((hugs)) hope you had a good night.

The night here wasn't great. He slept well from about 7:35-4:25 but then was up (and NOT happy) until almost 5:40 (!) then back to sleep until 7:25. Gave him Motrin somewhere in there as he seems to have some sort of bug and/or teething. Not surprised as I had a bit of a virus last week and DH seems to have it now. Plus DD was up for a few minutes around 3am.

Sounds good although I might go for that PM nap from 2-3:30 instead.

yeah I think I might shorten that A giving us the nap from 2-3:30. Sorry to hear that your night wasn't great. Hopefully your little guy feels better soon! Time seems to drag on at about 4:30am. Hope your day today is good! Hugs!

Thanks - loading up on coffee today... He's seems a bit better today but not himself - much of my family has been fighting a tummy bug for ages now - lasts forever. Poor little man. He napped for all of 55 minutes this morning - hoping for a good 1.5-2 hour nap this afternoon.

I hope your day is going well and your LO is feeling a bit better. This morning DS woke up from his nap at 40 min but still tired so I went into him and tried to get him to go back to sleep. I was just about to start reading this book that I have been dying to read and I had finally finished doing dishes, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the floor, etc and I was soooo excited to have the chance to read for 20 min and then he wakes up as soon as I sit down on the couch (I had hot tea and everything  :'() Anyways, i tried to get him to go back to sleep and he was totally fighting with me so I got frustrated and just left him in there and then a few minutes later, he seemed to go back to sleep! So i sat down and read my book for a bit :D and about 20 min later he woke up (so a total of 1hr sleep...i think). Then this afternoon I had to get groceries so I left myself plenty of time so I would be home before nap time and he went ahead and fell asleep in the carseat. So he probably had a 15 min. nap and is now completely fighting going to sleep at all. There is just no way he will be good for the rest of the day. Ugh!

Okay, so finally at 4:15 pm he is down for a nap. I don't even know where to go from there. So frustrated. I will pick bedtime depending on his temperament and how long his nap is.

Hi there Jenn, I hate it when Finn falls asleep in the car seat - he's the same he thinks that 2 min shut eye he had = a nap.  Sorry your day was rough but I am glad to hear that you got to read some of your book!  That's a major milestone in my opinion :-)  Hang in there girl!
The tweaking never stops!
