yeah ive got that too Mashi, when it happens i usually take it as a sign the server is gonna go down so copy and paste a post, ive actually been trying to get on for the past half hour but got the server down message, luckily i have a copied post ready to go back and paste!!

LOL Mashi, I don't think I would have the heart to do that (or the balls).

About general slowness, yes it is possible that this is related. As for the root cause of this, I am not 100% sure, but we are gonna be starting from a 'clean slate' (don't worry, not losing any posts/messages ;) ) and hopefully we will be more stable from there.

And it's getting ridiculous now, I start this today.

Not chasing or anything, just wanted to let you know - got the internal server error for last 30 mins or so here, no forward or auto forward message to temp site. Just the internal server error page. Reckon there's a chance that when I get the message once, my browser caches the error page from then on so when I try to go to the site again it's lazy and displays the error page it got before rather than actually going and fetching the page. grrrrr........ i think my browser's out to get me  ;)

anyhooo, thought I should let you know that i got it for quite a while tonight. maybe i'm hitting the site at peak time  :-\

theres an autoforward?? Ive never gotten it, and yep im managing to get on and then I lose the site again and its been off and on for the past hour for me too

The "autoforward" is a substitute error page that offers slightly different information to the typical Error 500 page that you receive.  The page is only apparent when accessing the forum from via a link from the main Babywhisperer.com website, and not when attempting to access the forum directly :)

I would just like to say that my house is clean and you can eat off my floors...and Finn often does ;-)

And no amount of forum error threads have the power of an irate wife who sees red when she sees server 500 errors.  It's being worked on, have no fear :-)
