One breast has become really hard? What to do?

Hi,
Was hoping for some advice as I'm not sure what is wrong or what to do.  I've been BF my DS for 10.5 months and tonight I noticed after his bedtime feed that my right breast has become really hard.  It doesn't hurt when I touch it but it feels heavier than usual.  There doesn't seem to be a lump just in general the whole top half has become really hard and not soft like the other one. 
Nothing has changed recently with BF other than he was biting me alot last month (to the point where I was bleeding) but that has stopped during the past week.  I pump 2x a day and BF 2x a day (morning and night). I had some trouble pumping from this breast the last 2 days but didn't think too much of it. Now I wonder if something is really wrong?

maybe mastitis? idk b/c there is no pain or tenderness or anything....can you see your midwife? they should know or even call le leche and get some advice about it at least.

Have you tried a warm shower and then feeding/pumping? It might be that you have some plugged ducts... You could also try cabbage leaves.

Thank you.  I've tried pumping tonight but make much difference. I'm going to put a warm compress and try massaging a bit before bed.  Then will let him have his morning feed and see how I feel.  Just hope it doesn't get worse overnight!
