ok to move to 3.5 or 4 hr east but not sttn?
« on: January 17, 2010, 05:39:39 am »
our lo is 4 mts old in a few days...its impossible to feed him every 3 hours he eats every 3.5 to 3.75 hours making it really really hard to fit in a 5th feeding the last or second to the last feed of the day he doesnt take full but he still has 1 NW since about 8 weeks old it is ok to move to further feeds 3.5 or 3.75 and still not sttn?

we have 2 long naps (almost 2 hours) and 1 cat nap --a 13 hour day and 2 hour A times...we dont dreamfeed as it really gets in the way of his feeding in the day he will eat even less and DF he still wakes since I think our NW is habitual but he eats and goes right back to sleep.

ok for me to stop stressing and cram a last feed in or not sweat it if it not 5 or 6 oz--he is BF and gets expressed BM the second half of the day so I can really see his intake---our routine below

awake 630 or 7
eat 7
sleep 9-1030
eat 1030/1040
sleep 1230-215
eat 215 5-6 oz
sleep 430-530 have to wake
eat 530/6--start as a cluster feed here 5 oz sometimes not hungry here and will eat a full feed at 715 but that means we will be loosing a feed
eat 745--3 oz top on used to take a full feed
eat between 3-4am
start over

Hi there

I know that you have a thread on NW tackling the same issue at the moment so I'm going to lock this one for now and have replied there. For other Mamas wanting to help, go to: http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=163410.0

See you on the other thread  :)
