Help! EASY ruined for today??
« on: February 19, 2010, 17:50:13 pm »
Hi there~
My lo is 8 wks old and we are on a 3- hr routine. Today, she woke up at 730am and started her day. I put her down for her nap at 9am and I also decided to take a nap. I didn't bother to set an alarm. Well, she slept until 1130!!  Now I am so confused on how yo handle the remainder of her day. Can someon please help???

Today (awake at 730):
E - 730
A - 800 - 900
S - 900 - 1130 ugh!!
E - 1130

This is where we are now. What should I do now???

Thanks!!

I'm sure you've already done what you've done, but I would just continue the routine as normal;  A for an hour (or wherever she is), then S, and repeat until she goes down for the night.  Remember, EASY is a routine, not a schedule!  :)

Thanks!

Sorry if I sounded a bit crazy.  I just could not believe we both slept that long!!  I just extended everything and our day was just fine.  Sometimes I get so wrapped up in her routine that I get paranoid when something goes wrong.  I need to work on that a bit  :o

In retrospect, I should just be grateful that I got a nice long nap this morning!!

LOL

30 mins like that doesn't matter at all - you would just carry on with your EAS pattern  :).

Remember EAS is not a clock driven schedule and can be altered as you need too to suit both your needs  :)
