my lo is 20 weeks old and I've just tried using the bottle for the first time. How much milk should I feed her each feed?

Also, I can only pump at most 4 oz each time. If my lo needs more than 4 oz, can I mix two batches of pumped milk together? or should I finish one batch and then feed the second? or does it matter?

Thanks!

I think my LO was taking 6oz of EBM at 5 months, he was a pretty big feeder though.

Yes you can definitely mix two batches of milk. It used to take me 3 pumping sessions to get two feeds.

Hi :)

Kellymom.com has a great calculator to help you figure out how much expressed breastmilk your lo will need per feeding:  http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkcalc.html

And I agree with Anna, no problem mixing batches of milk to feed.  If you're storing mixed batches, just make sure you date from the oldest pumped milk :)
