hi well day 1 today of no dummy, following the routine in book for making changes. have had success with pu/pd for morning nap took 30 mins first time without dummy, slept for 1hr 40 mins!! second nap took 40 mins without dummy, slept for 1hr 20 mins, bedtime took 1hr but only just finished so cant say how long, poor little thing i feel for him but i know its the best thing for everyone to lose the dummy, i am right in using pu/pd to break the dummy habit am i?

boy is it hard work, back ache and lots of gritting my teeth lol. so today has gone like this so far

E-7.10, breakfast at 8.20

s-9 20 started to pu/pd at 8.50 first time without dummy
E-11-lunch at 12.30
A-
S-put down at 1 sleep by 1.40 with pu/pd and no dummy
E-3pm dinner at 4.30pm
A-
S-catnap 20 mins 5.40
E-6.45pm
a-bath 7.15
S-start pu/pd no dummy at 7.30 sleep by 8.30ish
just wondering if to do the df as it may disturb him and will have to go through the whole process again or am i just being selfish lol
fingers crossed tonight goes ok it is one of the most trying things i have ever done!!
