No 'unread posts since last visit'

So not sure if this is just me, but when I click on unread posts since last visits, it shows very little - like maybe a page at most, but often no new posts at all... surely the site isn't just really inactive these days?  I also have never had any success when I click to show all unread posts, I wonder if that's considered a search (which is currently disabled, so that might make sense).

I just had a thought - do you think you maybe hit the button "mark all posts read" at somepoint?

I was just logged in on my laptop and there were about 5 pages of unread posts since my last visit. Now, 30 minutes later, I am on my iPhone and there is only one page with perhaps 10 posts. Weird!!  .... Back to my DF

Nope. 

Glad to hear it's maybe not just me... I know I'm on here a lot, but I'm still missing all sorts of posts and actually have to troll the boards.

Ok, I will try to explain what I understand happens....

If you come on at say 7am, check a thing or 2 and leave, then come back an hour or so later and click on Show unread posts since last visit, it will only show new posts since you were last on (so only posts from the last hour or so... since your last visit was 7am, even if you didn't read them all).

Does that make sense?

I don't think there is a clear time frame as to when that happens.  I do know that there are some days (usually when I am here a lot) that the unread posts hang around longer than others.  If you go to the last thread on the unread posts, it will be time stamped about the time you last were active.

Again, am I making sense?
