Games for a birthday party
« on: March 15, 2010, 16:09:13 pm »
Finn turns 1 on Friday...OMG I can't believe it.

Anyway, on Saturday upwards of about 15 kids are going to be here with their parents for a party.  Now the kids are all ranging in age, we got everything from Finn age to teenagers.  Quite a few in the 3 - 6 year range.

So instead of loot bags I wanted to do a few games for the kids and give out some prizes.  But I have no idea what games would be appropriate or what to give as prizes?  I was thinking I might give some vouchers to a book shop or to see a film etc.

Any game ideas?  I am thinking along the lines of old favourites like Musical Chairs but not sure...
The tweaking never stops!

I love all the oldies...

Musical chairs/statues/bumps.  Pass the parcel.  You can get a 'pinata' thing which is full of sweets etc and they each pull a string 'till it empties out everywhere.  Hide n seek?  maybe get some play-dough, painting pictures/masks. Hunt the 'thimble'

Hope you hava a ball!!

Let us know how it goes.

Enjoy,
Siobhan.
