I've no experience of low sleep needs bubs BUT I can tell you that with Stan sleeping longer overnight, he's ALSO sleeping longer for his naps. Turns out he's higher sleep needs than I thought. So it's possible (just possible) that Daisy might start getting more sleep in 24 hours now that she's not waking up at silly oclock.

ok so asleep for 7.15,woke at 5.10 then again at 5.50 but then at 6.10 we heard 'my lights are on' so i dont think she had gone back to sleep at 5.50.

so for the new clock time she 'woke' at 6.50 so wont nap till at least 1pm.im thinking let her nap 1-2.15 ish and a 7.15 bedtime and set the lights for 6.30am tomorrow.Too much to expect?

7:15 is the old 6:15 isn't it? I'd be inclined to keep it pretty similar to yesterday so I'd put her down at 7:45 myself. Honestly with low sleep needs kids i think a bedtime closer to 8 pm (which is the old 7pm anyway) might help to stop the EWs.

Forgot to say if she's going to bed at the "old" time best to keep her nap at the "old" time too - say maybe 1:15?

I guess just go with the flow with a 7 or 7:30 bedtime - someone must have told her the clocks changed!

It does sound like our issue in a backward way, a couple of good days / nights then all caught up and too much sleep.

If it were me, I'd get her up and try again much later.  I don't think you are going to have a lot of luck with the wiwo and it's becoming stressful.  The other thing Mashi mentioned before though was teeth - can you ask her if her teeth are hurting her - she should be able to tell you shouldn't she?

Her teeth are bothering her cos she said 'my teeth hurt' this morning so i dosed her up to the max b4 nap! im sure they cant be bothering her now!

i just fetched her some milk and she is lying quietly in the cot drinking it.its v.quiet in there but im not sure if she is asleep!

*** she flaked with her milk ::) 50 mins after i put her down for a nap!***  im so hoping she isnt starting to want to drop that nap! it seems to be getting harder to get her to nap on 6.30am wake up days! :(

What happened?  Did she settle and sleep?

I reckon on a 6.30am wake you can't try the nap till 1pm sort of make that an unwritten rule and see what happens.

You ok though? ;)

im ok,just hate not being able to figure her out.1pm seems a long time from 6.30 but i guess i have no choice.

she did fall asleep, albeit on her milk!! she slept from 1.20 and i woke her at 2.20.Not too good a nap but i needed a 7.30 bedtime...i cant cope with any later!!!

im aiming for 7.30-6.30 if i can keep her at that, but if she did 1-2.30 im pushing for a 7.30 bedtime...thats only 5 hrs and thats not long. Then i go down the whole 'ok, so do i cut the nap to 1 hr to get a 7.30 bedtime but i really am reluctant to be cutting the nap after last times fiasco!! im really never satisfied am i!!

i can still hear her chatting, she is most prob UT after a 5 hr A...im getting confused!
