My name is Christine. I have a daughter, Emma, who is 10 1/2 months old. I stay at home and love every minute of it. Being a first time mom, I often wonder how to make the right decisions re Emma.
I have the following question re Emma's nap schedule:
Up until a month ago Emma has been a great sleeper. She sleeps from 6pm to 6am.
Takes her first nap from 8am-9:30am. Her second nap from noon-1:30pm. A month ago she started not sleeping during her second nap. She crawls around her crib and talks until I pick her up 1.5 hours later. I am not sure what to do as my friends all tell me she is too young to drop a nap. I have read in several books that some babies do move to one long, mid day nap earlier than others. Any advice?
Secondly, if she is ready for one long nap, when should I start it?
Thank you,
Christine
