Low-key activity for spirited baby
« on: March 26, 2010, 19:20:03 pm »
Can anyone suggest a low-key activity for a 8mo old spirited baby? Everything is stimulating to our LO! Even when we just lie on the bed in a dark room with nothing to see or do she finds something to entertain her and keep her wide awake! It makes the transition to bedtime difficult...

what's her A time?  it may mean she needs a bump up in A time if she's resisting naps/bedtime.

Thanks for the input! I think you may be right and it's a good reminder!
We have struggled a little to find her A times, but now I think we're on track: 3-3,5h. The past few days she has settled without problems and given us good naps! I am always amazed at what the right A time can do (and we've found it also helps a lot to take away all toys 30min before winddown and give less feedback :) )

great.  at 8 mo my lo was doing 3.5 hours A time.  for sure you need to get it right for naps to happen properly.
