Help needed for 17 month old on one nap.

Sounds good to me!  I think that's what you'll have to play around with, a 2hr nap and 10.5hr night or shorter nap and longer night...

I would do 12:00.  The timing of the nap seems to matter a bit less here these days.  At home I do 5.5-6 A time, but nursery is more like 6.5-7.  It seems more to be the formula of length of nap + night sleep is always the same.  So a 2 hour nap, regardless of when it starts or finishes is a 10.5 hour night.

I am trying to do set bedtime at 7:30 these days.  Not sure if it is working because he was very restless last night, but canines are coming through so hoping teeth rather than OT (one tiny corner of one darn canine so far....come on already!).

My mum said he was v tired by ten to twelve and she put him down and he did 1.5 which I am fine with.

1.5 nap and 11 hour night would be a good compromise, I think!  That is what I like best here anyway.  Well, what I would like BEST is 12 hour night/2 hour nap like the book promised but we take what we get.

I know! When does that ever happen!? Yes if 1.5 nap gets 11 hours at night I will have to push to a 7pm bedtime which hopefully he can handle
