Really sorry you had a rough night hun :-*

It's okay, you can play around with feed times until this OT thing gets sorted, so you can feed him @ 10.00ish, so that you have enough time before he's back down. If you need anything, just post as the day progresses & hopefully I'll catch it up & help out in time:)

Thank you Cazzie, you are a real support mechanism.  DH dose not seem to understand - but never mind that is another subject.

Well i am off shopping today - need some ME time, going to still try and keep to some orderly EASY. Fingers crossed!!
Then we can start again tomorrow.  I think i am feeling quite overwhelmed by by this vicious circle.

No doubt you will hear from me tomorrow.

Hope you have a nice day and thank you again xx

If he sleeps in the pram, let him sleep as much as possible, so that he can overcome his OT & maybe keep bedtime early & low key activities towards the end of the day.

Hope you have a great shopping spree ;)

Well poor little thing, did not manage to get much sleep today, although i tried my best.  He has only slept a total of 2.50hrs - i know it going to be another crap night.

I can see he is trying to get too sleep, but just can't seem to get there.  He is now in bed, well has been since 17.15.

Let's hope he manages to get some sleep, I'd suggest APOP till you're over this, if you could spend a few low activity days, this should also help.

Great news ;)

I'd limit each nap to a max of 2hrs.

Sorry a bit more info

He 14.6lb and by the calculation on the bottle feeding area, you times his weight by 2.5 - 2.7

that would total 36.5oz

Wonderful ;)... you had a great day, so I'd give him only the df & see how things go. About the formula amounts, I'm really sorry, we only did formula occasionally, so I can't help with that, but I'm sure you'll find info on the bottle feeding boards ::)

Let's see how tonight goes, I think it will be good, he's clearly over being OT. So, now you're doing an A of about 1.20 & feeding something like every 3.30 hrs, give or take, right?

Yeh his A times have been from 1.15 - 1.30hrs and the last 1.45 which i think was a little to much for him, but he seemed to cope.  I just felt going to bed at 5pm was a little early.  Touch wood, we have not heard a peep as yet.

I had him sleep in my bed with, me beside him for his first two naps - which meant they were good ZZZZZZZ. how long do you recomend i APOP?  I have enjoyed having some snuggle time  ;D but don't want to fall into another trap.

How long do you think it will take for him to be able to manage 1.45hr A? (don't worry i am not going to push him, think i have learnt to pay more attention to his cues  ;))

I just want to take the time to say "i think you are a real pillar of strength, an i so appreciate your guidance THANK YOU"

My hair is growing back now Natasha

Yay...& Natasha has hair again..LOL.. ;)

Not @ all, I loved helping you & your little guy out :-*

I think he shroud be ok tomorrow, out of OT zone, but if you want, you could let ds nap with you & stop APOPing on Monday, mummy should be able to enjoy some snuggling  8)

Starting Monday, you could try extending maybe the first A, but do it only in 10~15 mins increments, to avoid OT & keep the last portion of A time low key to avoid OS.

Here are 2 links that should give you ideas:
