What happens @ 12.30 & yeah I'd feed @ 03.30...I'd also give W2S a try, but what do you mean by starting over?

Thanks about Adam, he's a ladies' man that little guy..lol

At 12.30 he wakes, gargles for a while, i try to leave him for as long as possible to see if he will resettle but nevr dose, so i replug him and he goes back to sleep.

I mean "starting over" starting the sleep training again, do you think what he had learned, as in able to transition through cycles he now can't do it?

No not really, it just is normal to have such regressions, it really is a process that has its ups & downs, but he's building on all what's he's learning, kwim.

Could the 12.30 waking be habitual?...you might be able to get over it using W2S.

How are you guys doing today? :)

Well we have good news, did not want to post earlier just in case i jinxed myself lol

Last night was fab, still woke at 12.30 so yes i think habitual could be the reason.  He did not wake at 3.30am but woke at 5am so i fed him, and guess what HE SLEPT TILL 7.20am  ;D ;D ;D  "I still woke up think i may have the habitual thing going on now" lol.   I can't believe it, he has not slept till that time for about 4 weeks  ;D.  I just wonder if that is what the root cause of the OT has been,  as i have not been feeding him during the night bar his dreamfeed, he has been hungry!! therefore in a restless state of sleep from 5am till 6am where i would then feed him.  Not sure, but seem to make sense.

So today has been better, still not brill on naps as you will see, but better than they were.  I have totaled his day time sleep and i may wrong as it works out as just under 4hrs is this too little? .  I just could not seem to find enough hours to fit everything, i hope i have done the right thing  ???.  If not never mind it cant get any worse than it has been ;)

Woke at 12.00am replugged and went back to sleep

A 11.00 - 12.45
S 12.45  - woke at 40mins pooped and could not resettle
A 13.30
E 14.45
A 13.30 - 15.15
S 15.15 - 16.15 1 hour?
A 16.15  - 18.00
S 18.00 - 18.45 by the time he fell asleep A time 1.45
E 18.45
A 18.45 - 20.15

Is this bed time too late? boy it has made my life easier putting him to bed at this time, as usually i am juggling making dinner for the rest of the family and doing Jay's BT routine.

I feel refreshed today xx

Glad you had such a good day & looks like you're now doing mostly 3.5 hrs EASY. About the night feeding, I think he's still too young to drop the night feed, yes some babies can STTN @ this young age, but I haven't come across one myself..lol..so 6 hrs straight is very good.

About bedtime, you have to find what works best for your family, so if 8ish works for you better go with it:)

4hrs of day sleep is good, here's the link where you can find average amount of day & night sleep:

Hope you go to have fab days :)

Well Yazzie, we are back on track  ;D ;D

No more night waking  8), sleeping till 7-7.30 in the morning, naps back to normal.  I am soooo pleased the OT stage is finally over horay!!!!!1 boy it has been a strugle but we got there in the end, i could not have done it without your support - so thank you so much.

I extended Jay's first A time to 1.55hrs, and he took it in his stride, napped for 2hrs  ;D.

I am sure i will be back at some point - hopefully not for OT, think i shall know how to deal with it  ;)

Again, you have been fantastic!!!

Natasha and Jay
