Alright.   I'll try anything to squash these EW.    I'm trying my best to remain in a good mood for the sake of my family.    I'll give her Motrin tonight to see if it helps.

Talk about mucking it up...there's a tooth.   Top right from the center.  :(   I hope that is the issue.   I hope that is what is really causing the EW.    She hasn't shown ANY signs that there is a tooth moving in.    She usually chews on her fingers.    She hasn't done that once and she stopped sucking her thumb when going to sleep.   I fell like an ass.

I put her down at 11am for a nap since she woke at 7am.    That's only 4 hr A but considering her rough morning (awake 430 to 6am) then I think it works out.   I gave her Motrin before her nap at 11am.   She woke at 1120 and I got her back to sleep in 5min an she slept until 130pm!    She never sleeps that long.   I don't think there is time to fit in a CN anywhere but maybe I can stretch her bedtime until 7pm.   That will be 5.5 hrs of A.

Don't feel bad. My lo does not give many teething symptoms these days apart from EW's and/or being a bit grumpy....oh and a constant runny nose!
 Great nap :)
Personally I would not try and stretch A time too much if she is teething but see how you go.

Agree with Becky, Finn's nose has been running since he was 6 mths so we can't count on that as a sign.  He has canines coming through now and not a peep...whereas the molars were BRUTAL.  He sometimes goes off food but that could really be anything.  The two times I thought he was teething it was actually an ear infection both times lol - so you are not an A$$.

I would still be tempted for the 6:30 bedtime given teething and her rough night.  Even with a good nap, it's one of her first ones so she has to stabilize a bit.

I had to go get my oil changed and when I laid her down to change her diaper in the restroom she cried.   Her mouth was wide open and her gums where the last two molars would be looked swollen and whiter than the gums where her bottom canines would be.     That is coupled with her other white bud that is top right of the center.

Hi Ladies,
Her day yesterday...
Awake 430-6
sleep 6-7am
AM nap 11-130pm
Bed-7pm

I tried to get her to bed by 630 but she is such a slow eater.   I didn't think she at enough at dinner but she said she was done.    She had 1/2 her bottle and went to sleep (with Motrin) and fussed for about 30 sec when I walked out.    I went into her room at 1am to give her another dose of medicine and she was moving.    I thought about waiting but gave her the medicine anyway.    She rolled around for about 10min after I gave her the medicine and eventually woke up.    I tried to comfort her and get her back to sleep.   She'd get quite, I'd put her in the crib, and she stand and cry.   I left the room and waited 3 min and she cried non stop.   I got her milk (a really bad habit) because I figured she was truly hungry.    She had about half the bottle and went back to sleep without  peep.     Her NW lasted about 20 min.    She woke at 530am.

So with the latest revelation that she is teething, should I go back to my original schedule?
Awake 530am
AM nap 930 to 950 or 10am (20 or 30 min nap)
PM 130 to 3pm (1.5hr nap)
bed 730pm

Should I try this for a couple of days and see if her usual schedule coupled with the Motrin helps squash the EW?

TBH I wouldn't worry about the schedule so much right now. If she's teething that badly, IMO sleep training goes out the window for now - I'd muddle through best I can with as minimal AP (and preferably not the bottle in middle of night) as possible and hope it passes soon.

Agree, and I think I would aim for more sleep rather than less sleep so probably stick to 20 mins AM/longer PM and earlier bedtime if needed.  Now isn't the time to push her to 1 nap.

Marlow woke at 530am so I put her down at 945 but she pitched a fit and finally fell asleep at 1010am.   She woke at 1040am so OT nap for sure.   I gave her 3 hr A and put her in bed at 145pm.   She is crazy OT now and has been crying for almost an hour.    Ive been in and out trying to comfort her.    She wants me to hold her.   She's had her pain meds.     She's just sitting in her crib crying a crazy OT cry.   I don't understand why she has this sudden relapse with sleeping.

I gave in and held her until she fell asleep.   It took about 5 minutes.    So the question is do I wake her at 4pm or let her sleep until 430pm?    She usually goes to bed at 730pm.

With such bad teething, many LOs get tired much more easily/after much less A time. You might want to shoot for only 3.5-4 hours A in the AM and only 2.5 hours after a short nap. As for today, I'd probably split the difference and wake her at 4:15 and put her to bed at her normal time, if not earlier.

Thanks Mom to M&M.   I've never been down this road before and kind of lost.    Teething hasn't been too much trouble for her up to this point.      I ended up splitting the time and woke her at 415.   She was grumpy but if I want to get her to bed by 730 then oh well.
Starting tonight I'm going to make sure she eats a big dinner so if she has a NW then I KNOW she isn't hungry and I won't give her a bottle.

She STTN last night but woke at 500am.   Today she had a 30 min AM nap and refused her PM nap.    I gave her pain meds and put her in the crib after 3hr 15 min.     She rolled around, cried, and fussed for 15 min then stopped crying and rolled around for about another 30.   She fell asleep at 2 and woke at 230pm.     She was in a terrible mood and stayed there for about an hour.    She was just grumpy, clingy, and wanted to cuddle.     She stayed up from 230 to 730pm.     I hope she STTN tonight.

Refusing the nap now sounds like she's feeling better!!  I would now try for the one nap and see what happens.

Good luck.

Although it is so hard it all sounds like normal teething behaviour so try not to worry - you will both come out the other side. With teeth and 2:1 there is a whole lot going on and you may find it is a little inconsistent for a while. You need to give her what she needs on that day and each day may vary while this is going on....bx
