I usually say 12-35 months is a toddler.

I considered it to from when they were walking to 3 years old (but try explaining to Masyn that Spencer is not a baby anymore and that she is a pre-schooler
)

I always assumed the same...that the word "toddler" referred to a lo who "toddles" around....so from a year until 3 years, when thet become preschoolers!
