Here is my thread on naps/routine questions:  http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=171175.0

I think it's time to ditch the DF - she almost always wakes up when I go in there now, and she doesn't nurse very long.  I've only held on to it b/c I'm afraid she'll start NW (of course, I have no grounds to believe that, just paranoid).  Also... it's the only feeding of the day where she's calm and peaceful - I'll miss that!  ;)

Tarakay---me too! (scared about nighwakings) however, I'm getting a few right now anyways, and she does wake up when I go in......I reduced the amount last night to 4 (from 5.5)---I suppose I could just drop it and see what happens, and if it doesn't working do the reduction over time....
how are naps today?

HORRIBLE naps today... 2 x 30min so far - both UT.  First A was 2:50, 2nd A was 2:30 (shortened due to a short nap).  She fell asleep FAST both times but was up blowing bubbles after 30 min!  Thank goodness she sleeps at night. :)

she won't be able to last that. It'll be OT at bedtime. Try to fit in a catnap and push her bedtime a tad later. in the swing or in the stroller..in the car..anything to fight OT

it may be enough :)

why just 20? My lo would usually wake up at 30 minutes for those last naps.

lol, I thought 30 might be too long---I let her sleep for 30--and pushed bed time back to 715 instead of 650/655-not much of a difference but....hoping for better tonight. I think Ill go with no df tonight (unless she wakes up) and see how that goes.
As for A times..
2HR15 MIN -without a problem
2HR10 MIN -was a bit tired around 1hr45, but I took her for a walk to lengthen A time without too much stimulation
2HR35 MIN -was a bit cranky near the end of this A time, but went for a 30 min cat nap w out a problem
BED @ 715

All in all, not a bad day...moving towards no cat nap and longer A time..hopefully

So, an update (it's 630am)
I dropped the dreamfeed last night--pretty much without a problem. She did wake between 230-330 a few times, but after that she was Ok till 6am. I'm looking at it as...an adjustment...and hopefully once she gets used to not waking up for df (she normally woke up when I walked in) she will stay in lala land, and sleep better!
How are things Tarakay?

I hope so too Jiinx,you've been a lifesaver--thank you!
I'm going to track A times again today..and post at the end of the day. I wonder if being up between 230-330 if she will be tired earlier...we shall see

usually if my lo has been up for an hr..she usually tacks it onto her night and adjusts by waking up accordingly.

However, if you think she's tired you can lower her As. However, this may result in short nap. see how it goes..

Looking forward to seeing your routine later.
