Help needed once again...
« on: May 27, 2010, 15:29:27 pm »
I know I've been here alot lately asking for advice..I thought I got it all sorted out with 11 month girl's naps with the right A time and getting restful naps however past couple of days she's been really clingy when she sees me and we're having NWs and EWs out of the blue. She usually STTN 10.5-11 hours...Usually I have an idea of what I did wrong and find ways to fix it..this time I'm lost...

This was her schedule yesterday:

7am Awake
10:45-12 noon - Sleep
3:45 - 5pm - Sleep
9pm - Sleep
1:25am - Woke up crying and slept at 2am after I rocked her
6am - Up for the day this morning - cheery and happy but rubbing eyes and yawning for the first half an hour

The past two nights before last night, she's wake up at between 4-5 and then I have to rock her to sleep and she goes down within 30-60 mins and then she's up by 7am..She's not having enough night sleep however taking good naps as I've been shortening her A times accordingly. Good naps meaning first one about 1.5 hours and second one upto 1 hour and then giving her full A time before sleeping for the night.

I have always rocked her to sleep and do plan to stop soon just not sure how to go about it. Do you think this can be the problem all of a sudden? Why sudden clingyness ?? She has 5 teeth and I cant see any others yet but I'm not sure...

Can anyone figure out whats going these NWs !!!! Would appreciate any insight !!!

HI there, actually she may need less day sleep at this point and is taking it out of her nights, naps are robbing the night sleep.  Have you tried cutting back her nap even more?  Have you read this link yet:
