How to start using E.A.S.Y?
« on: May 31, 2010, 06:19:15 am »
Hi My name is Dana, And My 8 weeks daughter is Gal.
I wanna start using E.A.S.Y as I've just heard about it recently. Now we have no schedule in our day.
Gal has reflux- which means she has to stay on my chest for 20 min, so she wouldn't emit all of her meal.
by this time, sometimes she  fall a sleep (not so many times in the day time)- How should I react? what can I do in this 20 min so she won't fall a sleep?
Most of the time she can't fall asleep till her next Eating. she may suffer from Gaz or start to cry when I put her in bad- there are many days that she cries all day long and sleeps  only 1-1.5 hr during the day. Most of the time she stops crying on my arms, but start again the minute I put her down. What can I do? How can I make her go to sleep.
Please help!!!

Hi & welcome to EASY & BW-ing :)

Have you read any of Tracy's books?

It's great to have a routine, makes things alot better and gives you and your lo some predictability, here are a few links that should get you started, have a look @ them:

You also need to start teaching your lo independent sleep & the recommendation is sh/pat, here's are links about it:

Since, this is an EASY related topic, I will be moving you there, so that you get more help on your specific questions, about the reflux, you might want to check out the reflux boards, here's the link:
