can I change EASY for sitter?
« on: June 01, 2010, 13:27:51 pm »
My best friend is going to start watching my DD. She has a 4 year old and an 18 mo who both only take 1 nap a day which is usually from 12:30-3.

My 7.5 mo DD takes 2 naps usually from 10-12 and 2:45-4. So you can see that she'll pretty much be having sleeping kids. This wouldn't normally be a bad thing but her kids will want to go out and play and so I was wondering if there is some way to switch the EASY around without me having to get up at 5 AM!!!

Or will she just fall into her own routine at her house? She will have to sleep in a pack-n-play and I'm really worried about that too!

First of all, I want to reassure you that many times those lo(s) can amaze you by sleeping really well in circumstances that you never thought they'd sleep in :)

Can you shift your day by 1 hr, so that your dd naps : 09-11 and 01.45 to 3 , so that @ least one of the naps are while your friend's lo(s) are asleep?

I probably could. I'll try it. Thanks for the suggestion. She only took a 45 min nap for the sitter and her kids ended up waking up later than my DD (who went to bed later). sigh.
