Whole milk @ 1 yo

My lo is currently breastfed and never would take a bottle She plays with a sippy cup (filled with water, breastmilk, or formula) and will not drink from it. I've pulled out our collection of all the different varieties of cup styles from our first, but no luck with any of them. They all end up being tossed on the ground My plan was to begin weaning at 1 year, since that is what I did with my first, but she would take a bottle and loved cups with straws. and didn't want to bf around 10.5 mo on and I had to really stick with it to get her to continue. This one just chews the straw and then tosses the cup. Should I wait until she is more ready? Or should I just continue and hope she gets it?

Also, since it's been so long and I have no gauge on amounts with this lo...what is the average milk intake for a 1 yo?

Have you tried drinking from an open cup? My LO will drink loads from one even though it is a bit slower than his sippies. He also loves those sports bottles with the pull up spout.
Are you wanting to wean from BFing? If not there are still benefits to continuing and so no rush but if you want to i would push the cup at a certain time of day so at least she starts to get on feed at a time - maybe lunch? Whatever cup you chose stick with it rather than changing too often so she gets used to it.

I think as long as they get their calcium intake from somewhere in there diet there is no actual minimum milk intake at this age but I think most LO's are having 2 cups a day. Children between the ages of one and three need to consume an average of 350mg of calcium a day (uk guideline). About 300ml milk (three–fifths of a pint) would provide this.
