L: about 2/3 of a one egg omelet with cheese and spinach, yogurt, cantaloupe
S: few crackers
D: organic no salt added chicken noodle soup with added veggies, about half a small meatball (homemade) with added spinach, pilfered one of DD's chicken nuggets (but at least homemade)

Going to try and keep up with posting now that I've finally caught up  ;)

Today
B: rice crispies & milk, CN cornflakes on the side, OJ
S: (at Gran's) organix cereal bar, small carton of OJ
L: (at Great Gran's) home-made stew (meat & veg - not sure what tho!), yoghurt, melba toast with butter & jam
S: yoghurt coated fruit flakes, water
D: bit of venison burger with potato wedges, brown sauce for dipping - chopped tomato, few slices of gherkin, bit of beetroot chutney and a couple of rocket leaves on the side (ate a couple of bites of burger, but cleared the rest of her plate bar one rocket leaf!), yoghurt, water, biscuit

And of course after saying that she eats a shedload of fruit she wasn't interested at all today - all that was left in the fruit bowl were satsumas so I don't think she was too impressed  :P

Karen, we posted at the same time . . .
Big lunch today... for us anyway!

Good for you  ;D

After that he also ate three of DH's fries (he and I did takeout) and a load more fruit - strawberries and blueberries before his bedtime bottle. Think he's starting to do some makeup eating after being sick for two weeks!

Think I've missed a few days, but we've not had anything a lot differemt to the usual, other than not wanting meals so much, either eating a lot less or complete refusal (until pudding!), I'm blaming the heat along with very strange nap patterns! He eats so much better when he's not long woken from a nap.

Couple of things have affected eating today

1 - DS  was very grumpy today and the latter part of yesterday - angry, tantrummy, pushing boundaries - DS thinks teeth but he says that for everything ! I think its maybe the heat or his early terrible 2's.
2 - We went out to eat at a strange time today with friends so DS could nap - 2.30pm. So in the middle of DS's meals really. He also had some treats and some juice which he never usually has!

B - beaker of milk, blueberries, cheerios and milk, raisins
S - pink wafer and water
L - sausages, sweetcorn and bit of potato, fromage frais
S/early tea - lemon and herb chicken, chips, minty peas,(half a portion) juice, frozen yoghurt
Snacks/supper at friends - strawberries and cream, cocktail sausages, oatcake, juice
7ozs cows milk at bedtime

What a mixture!

DS has been fussy with eating but then hungry. Just doesn't want to sit still lately. And becoming a french fry addict!

Yesterday was:

S: more cereal bar and fruit (mainly strawberries and blueberries)
L: small portion veggie lasagna
S: few cheese crackers
D: maybe 1/3 broccoli potato pancake, one small chicken cutlet piece, few french fries

S - organix cheese puffs, pot of peach, pear and pineapple pieces
Tea - barbeque - homemade herby turkey burger, cucumber, sausage, yoghurt, few white choc buttons, watered down grape juice

Berni, was it one of the home made granola bars that I posted in the menu planning board? If so, how did you like them? What was your healthy 'thing'? I am making some this evening with raisins, wheat germ, and cinnamon in them.

Better day here:

B: half small piece whole wheat raisin toast with cream cheese, half a yogurt
L: small whole wheat quesadilla with turkey, cheese and zucchini; applesauce
S: lots of strawberries and blueberries
D: good amount roast beef, bit of bread with butter, animal crackers

Amy - I saw those granola bars and they sound good. Wonder if you could sub in applesauce and reduce the sugar some?

Ooo, Karen... that might work! I am going to monkey with the recipe, since I am not happy with using a whole cup of sugar. The ones I made tonight taste great (raisins and cinnamon), but I cut the sugar and they are definitely more crumbly that the previous batches. I dunno. I will post the recipe here if I can get it right!

Today Nathan ate...
B: egg, tomato chunks, toast
S: animal crackers, banana, plum, and a few chunks of my orange (no rash so far!)
L: burger, slim whole wheat bun, asparagus
D: tabouli (spit out after two spoonfuls, but might have been because I was feeding him and he hates that), tomato chunks, pickles, cheese, and turkey
