Not working!

Right, i'm on my 4th day of EASY , it works 100% until evenings, Oscar just wants to feed and feed and feed from 6pm-12midnight! Any tips??

can you send some info......how old is your DS? are you BFing? how often are you feeding during the day?

Can you also post your EASY schedule?

But dont worry, its normal for babies to be random in the evening time. They are programmed like this to make it not too EASY for us! Lol!

He is 8 weeks today,fully BF,(although feel like giving up after the night we're having so far )
ok,E-7am A- 7.30-8.30 S-8.30-10am
     E-10am A-10.30-11.30 S 11.30-1pm
     E-1pm A-1.30-2.30 S. 2.30-4pm
     E- 6pm,7pm,8pm,9pm,10pm,11pm ................with a bath in between!

this is totally normal in the first 12 weeks! The evenings can be horrible! Just try to put baby to bed at 7pm, and go to him when he needs a feed....if you can.....if not a baby sling works quite well!

Have your tried cluster feeding, as well as implementing a DF?

Thankyou both for your replies.
I have spoken to my BF counsellor today who thinks it could be a growth spurt due to the 8 week mark.
I am just so tired!

its so hard at the beginning! but stick with EASY.....BW babies are the happiest and best kids around!

Pah, things are getting worse!
EASY 3 hr works really well till night time. Last night he fed at 6,7,8pm then 11.30pm, 3.30am and 5am. I am sooo tired

hey there, stick with this....it does get better! But this doesnt sound too drastic for 8 weeks old. cluster feeding works really well, and he is doing a 3.5 hour stint between the last cluster and the next feed. after that its 4 hours.....so thats good!

I found this the worst time with DS. I was expecting things to be back to normal ish sleep wise at this age, and got really disappointed when it wasnt. Sleep when baby sleeps, and expect the cluster feedings.....
