Another Q for UK MPI/MPSI mummies
« on: June 25, 2010, 21:00:21 pm »
How have you found the NHS for diagnosing MPI/MPSI??

We finallly got referred and went to see the consultant a couple of weeks ago. He wasn't very helpful TBH but we had a blood test to rule out 1 kind of allergy BUT the results take SIX weeks to come back (we are expecting results to be negaitve anyway). Plus just had a letter changing our appt to middle of Sept! I mean he is going to be 8 months by then! We first thought he had MPI after being hospitalised with severe vomiting at 3 weeks (note - we thought this after googling his symptoms - not because the hospital suggested it).

Seriously - am I expecting too much??

Hi there - maybe hop on this thread http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=173345.0, there are UK mommies going through similar issues with their LOs and may be able to lend some insight.   :-*

Thanks, I am already on that thread. It was more an issue about the NHS than what foods are safe.
