1 yr old sleep going awry!
« on: June 30, 2010, 11:46:53 am »

Hi I posted on general sleep board then realised this was a more appropriate place to post and as haven't had any replies as yet thought I'd pop it on here.

DS turned 1 last week and roughly since then (maybe up to a week before then) he has started fighting naps and bedtime in a big way. Standing up in cot and banging on the door (he has a small bedroom and the only place for the cot is next to the door)

He has been switching between 1 and 2 naps for a few weeks now and i really think it would be better if he did one nap (because his nights are better when he does this). trouble is we have been having super EW (between 4.30 and 5.30 am!!!!!) so this just isn't possible

When he wakes early there is just NOOOOO getting him back down not with feeding nothing. He used to settle so well for naps and bedtime but something is going seriously wrong.

Any ideas??

I have posted on your other thread so going to lock this one. Better to just have one as there will be more 'eyes' on it.
