Cries when put down to bed/nap - 9 months
« on: July 14, 2010, 18:34:52 pm »
How do I get my 9 month old to not fear bedtime/naptime. Everytime I even walk toward his crib, he starts to cry and resists naptime. He'll sometimes calm down on his own after I leave the room, but is there something I can do to make him not cry/scream when he sees he is going to his crib?

bumping for you - but it would help if you could post your daily routine.

Agreeing with Jess...a glimpse at his routine would be the most insightful.

Also, what is the wind down routine like, and how long does it usually last?  Have you just weaned a prop, and how long has this behavior been going on?
