Just realised that your LO isn't 4 months yet, is that right? So PU/PD shouldn't really be the chosen method, you should be looking at pat/shush for now.

I'm glad to hear about the better 4hr EASY - the idea is that in a few days it should start having an overall impact on his feeds, and hopefully the NW.
TBH, if I were you I would just stick with this 4hr EASY for a couple of days and try the pat/shush for daytime naps, then whenever you're confident that he is taking enough during the day, choose one NW (possibly the one around 2am) and work on resettling your LO without feeding.
Some mums try to cut the length of the feed shorter - i done with DS successfully - but some other mums find their LOs will have none of it :)
What do you think?

Hi Ladies, sorry to be back without good news to report!

DS is still a huge struggle, and no closer to STTN at all :(

He's still feeding max 3 mins per feed, generally only one side, and leaving me sore and engorged for another 4 hours. He seems to want to be a snacker big time. I went back to dr and got his losec upped, and still it's terrible. He's waking 4-6 times a night, and will only resettle with either a feed (I only feed him once between 10:30pm and 7am) or the dummy, which he dislikes and spits out. I have no idea what to do. I've tried shh pat which he hates, I've tried W2S, but he wakes at different times each night, and only got PUPD to try but he's not quite 4 months.

At the 2am feed he's smacking his lips and obviously hungry. Do I still try to resettle without feeding?

Thanks :)

((hugs)) It will get better, eventually it will, just hang in there 9and in here we'll help as much as we can).

TBH it sounds to me like the reflux may be at play. I would probably let the meds work for a bit before trying to cut the 2 am feed.
How are the daytime naps going?
