This morning I was surprised to come home from my walk with ds and find a can of Emfamil stuck to my mailbox lid with an elastic band, baking in the sun. I looked at the mailing label and was shocked to see that it was mailed out from Mead Johnson and addressed to me! Ds is breastfed and dd was breastfed until 18 months so I was puzzled as to why I received this.
I looked at the front and actually started to feel angry that there was a picture (obviously touched up) of an adorable baby with the caption "You want him to have the BEST start" and on the other side it said "You want her to be HEALTHY, nurish your little on with a free sample of Enfamil A". What??? Have I been mislead?

I thought that by bfing I was giving my ds the BEST start and helping him to be HEALTHY. Wow, was I making a mistake?

? Thanks, Mead Johnson, for correcting me, I will crack open this can of formula ASAP to give to my son, after all, you would never make such a false statement of your product giving the BEST START...right? That would be wrong to do, right? That would be misleading and false advertising, right?
Mead Johnson, you just sent your can of formula with its misleading advertising label to the WRONG person.
Yes, I just sent a big long email to the company

. It says on their website that all "inquiries" will be responded to within 48 hrs, so it should be interesting to see what they say back to me.
I have nothing against moms that chose to ff their los, but I chose not to and I am offended when formula companies try to shove their formula down my throat (or in my mailbox) and print such misleading information.
