How often should he go?

Hi Ladies

I just wondered how often breastfed babies should have a bowel movement.
My ds is 8 weeks old and after going sometimes 9 times a day he has started going about every 5 days and filling 2-3 nappies when he does!
I wondered if this was normal plus today will be the 6th day that he hasn't had a movement and although he's not straining to go he does seem very restless and squirmy and especially when feeding or napping!
Some advice/other experiences would be great to hear. I've tried tummy massage and it sometimes gets his gas out (he passes gas ALOT) it doesn't seem to do anything else.
Someone said that breastfed babies can go up to 10 days without a movement as there is little waste in breastfeeding but when he does go there is loads of it so he must be backed up????
I don't really know ladies - just looking for a bit of advice before I get too obsessed!!!! Lol

my DD would go every 4-5 days and it was an explosion!!!

my H.V said this was quite normal for breast fed babies x

Perfectly normal, DS1 was the same 9-10 a day for first 2 weeks then nothing for 5 sometimes 6days, he still doesn't go everyday at 6. the other 3 were a bit less extream usually about 2or3 days without going

My DD goes every 3 days and seems really uncomfortable around the 3rd day...I was wondering the same.
