Just to share a "recipe" with you.  DS can be a bit funny with fruit (the texture, he doesn't like the sliminess!!) - I decided to blitz up a melon (with a bit of water, to make it work in the smoothie maker) ... I then put the mixture into ice lolly moulds and put them in the freezer.  Suppose you can use any fruits but there are a lot he can't eat ...

DS LOVES them - especially when he is teething!  It's a great way to get some fruit into them in a fun (but still healthy way)  ;D

Great idea!!

I use fresh orange juice (Tropicana) straight into ice lolly molds, works great too and Josh loves them  ;D

I've done different kinds but my favorite recipe is to mix one cup of water with one envelope unflavored gelatin and 1/4 cup sugar. Heat that over low heat until the gelatin dissolves - about five minutes. Then toss it into the blender with three cups of fruit and puree. Pour into ice pop molds or dixie cups and freeze and enjoy. The gelatin keeps them from dripping as fast!

When in a pinch, I buy these. All natural and taste GREAT! http://www.godairyfree.org/Product-Reviews/Frozen-Desserts/Smooze-Fruit-Ice-Vegan-Gluten-Free-Soy-Free.html

Ooh, I'll have to try that with the gelatin! We also add yogurt to make yogurt smoothies - and then freeze that mixture in the molds. YUMMY, goes over quite well in the heat we've been having.

I hadn't thought of adding yogurt - but great idea ... and we don't need to worry too much here about the lolly melting (a combination of DS eating non-stop and our lovely Scottish weather!!!)
