Tyler is not the best at eating which i'mputting down to his teeth issues at the moment, but he will pick at finger food, eat his prrodge for breakfast and have a rusk with milk before bed.
Last night he woke at 10, then 1 then 3 then 5.  Apart frim the 1am waking, I was just giving him bonjela on his gums and he was going straight back off.

Hi, my almost 11 month old has been waking at night for about 10 days now, and she is just now cutting a tooth.  Sometimes she just wanted comfort and sometimes she needed meds -- and once they kicked in she would go right back to sleep.  She's also not eating really well right now.

I think that sometimes with teeth pain they will wake up just for comfort (at least, mine does).  And I'm fine with comforting her when she needs me.  She's been an independent sleeper for awhile now and comforting her through illness or teething has never "ruined" her independent sleeping.

So I think you're right -- hold off sleep training and just wait it out.  :)  Note:  I do still work at putting her down awake, even when she's teething.  Sometimes she fights me more and I have to put her down pretty much asleep, but you can maybe still work on making small changes.

Oh, and it was just a quick glance, but your EASY looks good to me.  That, plus the fact that he's going back to sleep right after you give meds make me think it's probably just a phase related to his teeth.  Good luck!
