Yeah I survived!!  Just about lol!

O however has only had 30mins sleep ::)  My mum had him at hers and he'll usually nap *ok* there but he chatted for 30mins and then she told him to go to sleep and then he only slept 30mins.

Please tell me what I am supposed to do with this child?  On the plus side though he was out like a light this evening!

oh laura!  more hugs.  if the long wakings don't seem to bother O, just try to sleep yourself.  Of course, if he cries and needs you, you go to him.  Perhaps his body just doesn't do such long sleep!  It's useless advice i know.  I wish I had wisdom.  xx

I guess just love him,

This is the best answer, really, even though it's not the easiest.  You've honestly tried everything, Laura!  (((hugs)))!   :-*

Everything just feels like a mess again.  We had quite a good period where I actually thought things were getting better...fast forward to this week and things have been as bad as ever :( :(

if the long wakings don't seem to bother O, just try to sleep yourself.
I do leave him, I only ever go if he's either upset or has been awake for ages and seems to be getting more worked up.  I sleep as much as I can but you all know how hard that is when you know they're awake ::)

Thanks for the continued support and care I really appreciate it. :-*

And so yet another 1hr crappy nap.  The thing is he needs to nap well to help him at night I *think* that is one thing I have learnt :P I just can't get a good nap anymore :(  It doesn't help that it's quite chilly here and he refuses to have any covers on ::) When he's asleep I'll go and put a blanket on but then when he comes into a light sleep cycle he gets frustrated.

Fed up with this mess today :( Probably just cos I'm tired.

Becky you're a star!  I'd completely forgotten about his grobag!  We used to use that for naps but stopped using it at night as he got so caught up in it so he sleeps in a footed sleeper at night.

I'll dig it out - I hope he's not too big for it now!  I think it's aged upto four years or something.  Worth a shot.  ATM I think it's cos I need to get him down earlier for his naps but my mum said that he's been taking ages to fall asleep.  Today my SIL was over so it wasn't early and he still didn't sleep long.  I just hate this feeling of one step forward two steps back.
