Hey

Just discovered your post.  I have the very same problem.  Murphy turns 2 next week and has point blank refused to nap for me this week.  Up until this week he has been hard work and i have been using WI/WO sucessfully - but everyday - never got any better.  But this week!!!!  i don't understand why he has suddenly got worse.

Like you, i know he needs the nap as on days out where he has not had a nap he is knackered and usually falls asleep in car.   I have a 3.5 month old too so i really need this nap but the amount of time i am having to put in to try and get him to sleep is hard work!!!

any ideas as WI/WO not working for me :o(  he gets hysterical!

Stay tough Crispy Chick. Wesley had a couple of weeks right at his 2nd birthday where sleep was nutty. I dont know of any other methods to get him to sleep could you need to tweak the time he's going to sleep by chance? Lengthen the windown time perhaps?  I think Wesley would have gone to sleep even sooner if I hadnt gone in that second time. How long are you waiting between going in to his room?

Those two weeks were rough, Wes wouldnt nap or sleep well at night, I posted on here and it looks like a two year old thing. Do what you can to get him some rest and so that you can take care of both kids. It'll get better just stay tough on the WI/WO if that's what you decide to do.

Let us know what happens:-)
