Nicole, you sure you don't already know the answer to this one  Tongue ?  He will spit the food out of his mouth, into his hand, and then throw it.  (Yes, fave foods too....get him down to pick it up and he will eat his half chewed food from the floor and ask for more!!!)

HAHAHAH GROSS!!!!!

Mashi, how would you feel about just laying down a hard line with him? He throws a piece of food, and he is done for that meal. His food goes away and he gets down, and that is it. I don't know, I almost hesitate to ask that; I don't know if I could do that with Nathan. But do you think it would work? Maybe if he gets put down hungry after a few times, it would stop.

Yep, we do it all the time!  He could care less - as Lucy said a few posts ago that's a bit of a reward for him (he's never been much of an eater, he's only 11kgs at 25 months!)

Monday night it starts - just have to put it into a plan....and stick it on the wall so we both agree on it and don't change our minds at the last minute!

Finn is letting the liquid dribble out too.  Today he had a few sips of water while on DH's shoulders, DH got a nice shower lol  He's clearly doing it for fun and reaction.  Do you think it's a boy thing?

His shirts are constantly soaked now.  I try not to give unwarranted attention to it but really - I hope he grows out of it soon too lol

Yep - shirts and pants!  Wendy I am sure you can appreciate (or at least understand) the frustration I have with not being allowed to vacuum on Sundays....so figuring out what to eat on a Sunday so that it's moppable and not needing a vacuum is always a treat as well!!

Wait, why can't you vacuum on Sundays? Is this a German thing?

I was thinking about your throwing issue this morning while I fed Nathan, and I had a mental image of you putting a funnel in his mouth and just pouring soup in it so he couldn't reject the food. Ahhhh...

Yes.  We will be quiet on Sundays!  No housework.  Kind a blessing in disguise but not really when you have a messy toddler.

I am so over the throwing too, and today he left a half eaten banana on the sofa - arrrrgh.  Mashi keep us posted, we are all behind you in your resolve!
