Alyssa is 2 weeks old and have found that from 4-6am she needs to sleep on me. Prior to that time, she sleeps in her moses basket.

Hi sabs. Ds is a bit older than your lo 7.5 weeks
, but he tends to be restless at that time as well sometimes - usually because of gas or impending bm. I've had him sleep on my chest during that time and he settled. Wonder if it's because he's on his tummy. Could this be the case for your lo?

I think this is often a tough time for LOs, especially when they are so young and are still working out day/night, sleep cycles, etc. I would just do what she needs to do for now (as long as it's safe - do you feel it is?) and worry about it later as she gets older.
