11 month old - won't take cold liquids
« on: October 19, 2010, 21:44:01 pm »
So - I've always warmed up her bottle a little, and now I've created a bit of a diva.  She will only take warm liquids.  Now that I'm trying to wean her to milk and a sippy cup - she won't take it because of the temp.  Suggestions???

I wouldn't say you've "create a diva" rather I would say she is a perfectly normal toddler, doing what most all toddlers do!  As anna says, if you want to get her onto colder liquids, heat it less and less, once she is used to one temp, heat it less and so on!

Thanks, ladies - now I don't think it's the temp, I just think she doesn't like milk.  (We've gradually been adding more and more milk, with less formula.)  She doesn't really take the water either - so we'll see what the doctor thinks I should do.

I appreciate the help!  I love this site!
