This morning I let him have an open cup for milk - and before daycare, how brave am I lol A clothes change would have meant missing my train.
Yet he did very well, when he did spill it he told me about it, and he did put some of his Shreddies in the cup, and then said 'uh oh, oh no' and came and got me. I had to keep reminding him that 'milk is for drinking and we only have drinks in our cup' 'cereal is for eating and stays in the bowl' lol
But last night he got open cup with dinner and guzzled a bunch of water. I really do think my kid is dehydrated a lot of the time...he must find the sippy cups hard work. Now his dexterity is better I think we're going open cup and sippy when travelling.
But that's a digression from my thread - really it means that when he's taking more milk on a regular basis I will feel more comfortable switching to one with less fat. I think I'll leave him on 2% with DH and then eventually they can move to the fine-filtered 1% which really tastes like 2%. And I'm fine with my skim milk.
