i want my spirited LO eats without any props, such as tv. should i stop if he says i am full. (my lo use 'i am full' if he is not full also, even if he does not touch to the plate.) what is the key to create a child who thinks if he does not eat now he will be hungry.

Well the first thing is to remember that he will not starve himself! If he says he doesn't want any lunch, then fine, but he will certainly be hungry by dinner time! Around this age I had to be careful about snacks - a large or badly timed snack would definitely ruin my LOs appetite for his meals.

thanks,

but our main problem seems our caregiver and me feed him. he can feed himself but it looks he lost his interest. i have a new baby and no time to feed him. should i leave him to starve?

What I'm saying is that I really don't think he will starve! When he is hungry he will eat! He doesn't need you to feed him!
