How does DF work?
« on: November 24, 2010, 16:20:06 pm »
Hi

Could someone help me work out what dream feeding should look like for my 6week old.

His eating times are like this:

8am
11am
2pm
5pm
8pm
11pm
3-4am (wakes once at night for a feed)

Although he feeds at 11pm, he doesnt fall asleep until 1-2am in the morning. Driving me nuts now! Want to get him to sleep earlier even if that means he wakes at a different time during the night for a feed.

Suggestions?????

Many thanks

HI there, have you tried not doing a DF at 11 and just following his lead?  We started a DF at that time but then he would always wake at 1 or so anyway.  SO we just stopped doing it and he had 2 night feeds until around 5 mths.

This link has lots of good tips on starting, stopping and other feed related tips:
