3 hour routine help
« on: November 26, 2010, 08:56:20 am »
hello
i have been trying to do easy routine with my 12 week old girl
the trouble is i am finding she cant make it til the full 3 hours
for instance
7am wake and feed
7.20 activity
8.15 sleep
9.00 awake
now do i feed at nine and do easyeasy
or do i wait for the full  3 hours and fed at 10.
i find shes normally hungry about 9.30 which would equal 2 1/2 hr routine
also... naps are only 45 mins every time?? does this matter?? she does longer in pram/car seat but i cant always go out

Hey there hun & welcome to the forums:)

At this age, she really should be capable going 3 hrs between meals, and maybe even sometimes more actually, has she ever gone 3 hrs @ all between meals, and how long have you guys been trying EASY?

After how much A time does your lo usually give you tired signs? I think you can actually start extending A time a bit, so maybe try 01.25~01.30 hrs, as I think those 45 mins naps are UT, however if you get a short nap, I would still try to hold E time till 03.00 hrs, so you'd have something more like EASAEAS.

This is a link with sample routine, which could give you some ideas:
